What is Partie Version 2?
If you’ve been using Partie for a while now, you've probably noticed we've made gradual changes to the platform through engineering hot fixes, interim feature improvements and technology partnerships.
Over the last two years, our team has gained a multitude of learnings and insights that have led to short and long term product improvements.
The feedback and suggestions from our community have helped shape and contextualize these improvements that we feel are essential to evolving Partie as an integrated platform and service.
All the while, we have been working slowly and steadily in the background to build a new version of Partie to address more significant changes.
Partie Version 2 will be our most ambitious release yet — a vastly improved, fully native core product and user experience combined with new Features and offerings to deliver an optimal experience for the Partie community.
This Help Center article will explain the core changes to the platform, how and when to access Version 2 Beta and how you can provide feedback and thoughts to our team as we roll out this new release.
What Should I Expect in Version 2?
We continue to be driven by promoting positivity and safety in gaming while also creating value for our user base that both compliments and goes beyond a premium matchmaking solution.
With this new version of Partie, we hope to make Version 2 feel like it was optimized for browsing, creating and joining Parties with ease, but also complementary features that can connect you with other members of the community more consistently and enhance your overall experience on the platform.
The Version 2 interface is designed to simplify and improve the Partie experience for everyone by creating a more organized, more streamlined, and better-looking app that helps you get to your Parties quickly and easily.
You'll notice some major design and functionality improvements in the creation and management of Parties, improvements to our matchmaking algorithm (including suggested Parties and users) and re-vamped Voice and Video features as we localize our services.
We'll also provide you with the flexibility to schedule or join a Partie at a later time and/or date so you can plan ahead, organize your squad and maximize your time in game.
Along with user experience overhauls of our Feed and Profile systems, we'll be introducing new features including Challenges, Favors and an eventual Marketplace to give you a variety of ways to get rewarded for your in-app activity and event participation in addition to ongoing Prime Gaming benefits.
For all Partnered users on Partie, we will be rolling out brand new, dynamic features and extensions that will allow them to further build their community and increase engagement on our platform.
On Twitch, for example, Content Creators and Streamers will soon be able to create and manage Parties while being live, making on-stream community gameplay simple and turnkey.
As Version 2 updates progress, we will be introducing brand new monetization and revenue opportunities via in-extension Bits, bookable 1-on-1 gaming sessions and generous Partie Plus subscription revenue share.
When Will I Get Access to Version 2?
As part of our Prime Gaming benefits, Amazon Prime members will receive exclusive early access to Partie Version 2 Beta, currently scheduled for June 15th, 2023. All Prime members will be contacted by Partie prior to release to confirm their registration.
General access to Partie Version 2 Beta will be announced at a later date.
